Camelback Safaris

Camel Trekking Safaris In Marsabit - Kenya

Camel safaris are the ultimate wilderness experience. They allow you to go deep into the heart of the bush, where you can closely observe wild animals without sitting in a vehicle all day. You can track elephants on foot and get in touch with local communities that are knowledgeable about their rich cultural and natural heritage.

Experience the thrill of camel back-riding across the African savannah with a small group of friends, surrounded by tradition, wildlife, and outstanding scenery. Our safari combines camel back-riding and walking through serene areas, including those that are off the beaten track and seldom seen by tourists. They offer a great alternative if you want to get up close to the animals of the African bush and the local communities.

Our camel safari itineraries take 2 or 3 days and can easily be incorporated into your stay at Sayu’s Camp.

Helicopter Safaris in Northern Kenya

Helicopter Safaris

Luxury Safari Experience in Northern Kenya

Embarking on a dawn or dusk helicopter adventure into Northern Kenya’s remote Turkana region promises stunning experiences. We begin at the northern end of Suguta Valley, where extreme temperatures and erosion have shaped a breathtaking landscape. As we soar over lava flows and saline marshes, we’ll soon touch down on vast white sand dunes to feel the soft grains beneath our toes and snap some photos.

Continuing our journey, we reach Lake Logipi, a shallow soda lake with a pH of 14, teeming with thousands of flamingos and migratory birds. A range of volcanic cinder cones called “the Barrier,” including Teleki’s and Andrew’s volcanoes, separates Suguta from Lake Turkana, the largest desert lake in the world, known for its captivating turquoise colors. On the southern shores, we’ll land near the collapsed Nabuyatom volcano and enjoy stunning views while relaxing with a cold drink before heading back.
